Parent Forum News
Many thanks to the parents who attended Parent Forum last month. We spoke about how the staff and the parents can work together for the benefit of the children.
The main messages on this topic from the parents were that they wanted to be better informed about what their children are learning in school and wanted more opportunities to be in school.
What we’re doing:
The staff, the children and the parents we’ve spoken to all seem very positive about ‘All different. All equal. All learning’ as our school’s slogan/strap line – it’s really stuck with people because it seems like a vision we can all share.
Our parent forums for the academic year 18-19 will be on Monday 29th January, 25th February, 25th March, 29th April 2019 at 3.30pm. If you’re interested in representing your child’s class please email email@example.com
Our monthly parent forum started in the spring term 2018. Many thanks to those parents who took part. We still have spaces if anyone else is interested.
A different subject will be under discussion at each meeting, most recently ‘How can the parents and the school help each other to help the children?'
We will set what will be discussed during the 2018-19 year at the next meeting.
